Happy Two Months Freya

We're in shock that Freya is already two months old!  It's taken longer than we expected to get her site up and running both for technical reasons (why isn't this easy?) and time contraints.  But alas, here we are.  As of her two month check up, Freya is 11lbs and 5oz putting her squarely in the 50% for weight.  She's now 23 1/2 inches long putting her in the 90% for height; she's' grown a whopping 3 1/2 inches since birth.  She had a rough first month; she was diagonsed with RSV (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_respiratory_syncytial_virus) and was hospitalized at two weeks old because it is dangerous in young babies under a month.  During her hospitalization, she was also diagnosed wtih an E. Coli infection that she contracted during birth.  Here's her in the hospital at 2 1/2 weeks alert and mostly happpy.  Fortunately she has fully recovered and is doing great.

Freya took her first road trip at 2 months.  We took both girls to Monterey for a long weekend during Astrid's spring break from school.  We visited the aquarium and the beach and had a great time!  Freya was great in the car sleeping most of the way there and back.  Here are a few shots from the weekend.
